Drain Wizard can install a new treatment plant that allows you to discharge to a watercourse.
A permit is not required at present, as long as the discharge is not above 5 cubic metres a day.
We also install new drainage fields for septic tanks.
A percolation test on the ground/soil will be required to calculate the size of the new drainage field required for the property size. The test takes two days.
Note
To meet building regulations, a new drainage field should be at least 10m metres from any watercourse, and 50 m from borehole, spring, or other source of water supply intended for human consumption.
